Asparagus aethiopicus is indigenous to southern South Africa. It is simple to grow asparagus fern. Asparagus is a member of the Asparagaceae family. The frilly, feathery asparagus fern plant has a soft, fuzzy appearance. Sprengers asparagus, Asparagus aethiopicus, is a plant endemic to South Africa's Cape and Northern Provinces.
